Verbal Consultation

Service Description

After sending your material, we can talk about it! Add this on to any service, or purchase a verbal consultation on its own* to have the notes conversation YOU want to have about your material. We can chat for 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on how detailed of a discussion you would like. You lead the conversation by asking about what you'd like to know. Anything from a general first impression of your material to suggestions for dialogue changes. * = If you are purchasing this service on its own, I will provide you with page notes before our conversation for us both to reference. This is why the cost is higher than purchasing the verbal consultation with another service. You cannot opt out of page notes, as this is by default how Mic prepares for verbal consultations. BEFORE BOOKING: Send your material along with a brief description of what kind of conversation you would like to have about it. Please also indicate the date and time (PST) you would ideally like the verbal consultation to take place. Pricing listed here is for 30-minute consultations. To request an hour-long session, email micisediting@gmail.com to discuss additional fees. ----- Once I receive your materials, I will be prepared for a discussion with you within 10 days. For rush orders (to be completed within 2 - 5 days), please email me to discuss additional fees (determined by length of material and time in which the consultation must be done) "Session duration" is an estimate for how long it takes me to analyze a feature-length script and prepare to have the discussion you indicated you would like to have. This is not an estimate for how long the session will be.

Cancellation Policy

I will complete your coverage within the time stated on the booking page for the service selected. To guarantee that turnaround time, I must receive your material within 8 hours of this service being booked. Email micisediting@gmail.com before booking if you need more time to send your material. For rush orders (to be completed in 1 - 7 days), there is an additional fee that will be based on the length of your material and how quickly you need the coverage. In general, the additional fees will not surpass the cost of the coverage. You may cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel before I start your coverage. Once I have started, you may either receive a partial refund or no refund depending on how far along I am in the process. If I need to extend the amount of time it will take to send your coverage, I will reach out to you asap and we can discuss partial or full refund options.
