Service Description

If you're looking for more specific comments on your material that give you insight into the reader/audience's perspective from beginning to end, look no further than this Scene-by-Scene Notes service. I will write my comments on each scene of your material as I experience it. This can help you find pacing issues and plot holes in your story, as well as providing you with insight into what an audience may be expecting and what they want more of throughout. These notes are less polished than a typical coverage report. It's more like a conversation, or like reading someone's mind as they view your material! This service also includes a 30-minute video consultation to answer any questions you have, and to allow me to provide any further insights. For scripts, you can request feedback from a reader perspective or an audience perspective (I would analyze your material as if I were watching the completed film/show). Email me to clarify which one you prefer. ------- Once I receive your materials, I will send your coverage back to you within two weeks. For rush orders (to be completed within 3 - 7 days), please email me to discuss additional fees (determined by length of material and time in which the coverage must be completed) Additional fees will be requested for denser material, and possibly material written by non-native English speakers if it needs more polishing. These fees could range from $10 - $100. Email micisediting@gmail.com if you believe your script qualifies for a discounted price. I will reach out to you regarding these fees if you have not indicated you need them but you qualify. "Session duration" is an estimate for how long it takes me to analyze a feature-length script and write a proper evaluation of it. This is not an estimate for when your material will be sent back to you.

Cancellation Policy

I will complete your coverage within the time stated on the booking page for the service selected. To guarantee that turnaround time, I must receive your material within 8 hours of this service being booked. Email micisediting@gmail.com before booking if you need more time to send your material. For rush orders (to be completed in 1 - 7 days), there is an additional fee that will be based on the length of your material and how quickly you need the coverage. In general, the additional fees will not surpass the cost of the coverage. You may cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel before I start your coverage. Once I have started, you may either receive a partial refund or no refund depending on how far along I am in the process. If I need to extend the amount of time it will take to send your coverage, I will reach out to you asap and we can discuss partial or full refund options.
