Service Description

Are you struggling to perfect your script, treatment, or pitch document? Have you gotten the note that your material could use some trims, polishing, or formatting work? I'm here to assist you with all of that! I will meticulously go through every detail of your document to make it more concise and easily readable. This service also includes proofreading, from correcting misspellings to format adjustments, such as ensuring all scene headers are consistent. With simple revisions and rewording, Mic is typically able to trim feature screenplays down by 5 - 20 pages. This line editing service will enhance the quality of your material and ensure your story and unique voice is the only thing that stands out. With this service, you will receive two .pdf and .fdx files, one with revisions marked in colored text and one clean. At your request, you may also receive a comparison .pdf with the original text crossed out and the edits in plain text. ------- Please allow 2 - 4 weeks for completion of this service, depending on the length and density of your material. Additional fees will be requested for denser material, and material written by non-native English speakers that needs more polishing. These fees could range from $10 - $100. Similarly, you may be charged a lower price if your material requires less revisions. Email micisediting@gmail.com if you believe your script qualifies for a discounted price. I will reach out to you regarding these fees and discounts if you have not indicated you need them but you qualify. Please email me before booking your service if you have any questions. "Session duration" is how long the line editing process is estimated to take for a feature length script. This is not an estimate for when the line edited document will be returned back to you.

Cancellation Policy

I will complete your line edit within 4 weeks of receiving your material. For rush orders (to be completed in 1 - 2 weeks), there is an additional fee that will be based on the length of your material and how quickly you need the line edit. You may cancel and receive a full refund if you cancel before I start your line edit. Once I have started, you may either receive a partial refund or no refund depending on how far along I am in the process. If I need to extend the amount of time it will take to complete your line edit, I will reach out to you asap and we can discuss partial or full refund options.
